Hello! First off, let me just say that I'm glad you're here. We could go on about the history of "Kevin Hsu" and how I am a professional violist by day and a professional photographer by night. But that's not why you're here. You want to know what 12/34 LAB is all about.

Every member that makes up the team at the LAB are professional photographers and musicians.
It is our objective to make you feel certain emotions and capture the most authentic you for your photos. We've studied the art of injecting emotions into performing - we know what expressions are all about.
Our shoots use photojournalistic and guided posing methods, inspired by fashion and fine-art photography. For event shoots, you may get to meet additional members of LAB, trained and handpicked by me - trust me, you'll love them.

Kevin Hsu is the founder of 12/34 and its subsidiaries - LAB, Studios, and Virtuosi. In addition to photography, Mr. Hsu employs his artistry via filmmaking, audio recording, and music performances. When he's not photographing people, Mr. Hsu performs viola throughout the country with orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic. His musical background has taken his performances to countries throughout the world like Germany, France, Poland, Canada and Japan.
Dr. Misaki Saito is an award-winning photographer and certified contributor for Getty Images. Dr. Saito's portfolio includes abstract works, minimalism, landscapes and portraiture - through which she explores beauty, authenticity, and storytelling. In addition, Dr. Saito holds a doctorate degree in piano performance and has performed in prestigious venues such as Walt Disney Concert Hall and Steinway Hall and in many parts of the world, including Japan, China, South Korea, Thailand and Russia.
